The STD code for Criccieth is 01766. Although Mr Burridge no longer owns the business, he still works there.
I have spoken with Mr Les Burridge who remembers the artist well having framed his work over many years.

THE STORY:
Every good painting should have a story to go with it, something to stimulate the imagination.

Those who are film buffs will recognise Llyn Gwynant as the area where some scenes in the Guy Richie film Legend of the Sword about King Arthur with David Beckham were filmed. You can imagine him looking for a suitable place to put his foot so he could look nonchalantly at the camera for the publicity shot.
Incidentally, Llyn Gwynant is not far from Ysbyty Ivan where King Arthur or more correctly in Wales, Prince Arthur died after being mortally wounded during a battle between Cross Foxes near Dolgellau and the Tal-y-Llyn pass.
